Growing Wealth and Growing a Garden
I have been asked many times what directed me to pursue a lifestyle of entrepreneurial endeavors. I truly believe it grew from my love of growing things when the opportunity was presented itself to me, as a 9-year-old, moving to California and having a big backyard my parents gave to me for care. I grew vegetables and enjoyed selling them door-to-door to neighbors.
The fascination came from trying different techniques to enhance harvest and learning the patience of allowing Mother Nature to take her normal course. I learned to PLAN the garden seasonally, apply action to the Plan, and daily maintain the crops. And then the joy of realizing real profit from my consistent endeavors helped grow a true entrepreneurial mindset that helped grow wealth.
Growing a Garden (or an orchard) and Growing Wealth require the same set of rules.
Those rules are found in articles throughout the Business Blog Category here on this website. Bookmark for reading later.
One of the most important habits I developed early was asking questions of those more experienced and READING about the methods used by others. In the past decade or so one author stood out for me and that was books written by the wealth-building expert, Tyler G. Hicks, and his popular IW$ newsletter
Tyler G. Hicks (1921 – 2022) was a renowned entrepreneur, author, and financial expert who has inspired and guided countless individuals to achieve wealth and success. As the founder and driving force behind International Wealth Success (IW$), Tyler created a legacy of actionable strategies and innovative approaches to business and investment.
He authored numerous best-selling books on Growing Wealth, no-money-down business opportunities, and real estate investing, empowering readers to turn their dreams into reality. His straightforward, practical advice continues to be the foundation of IW$, helping entrepreneurs take bold steps toward financial freedom.
At IW$, Tyler G. Hicks’ methods remain at the heart of every resource we provide—ensuring that his vision of empowering entrepreneurs lives on helping them GROW their business and wealth
His books follow the same principles used in growing a successful grade, with the establishing of an idea, writing a plan of action, and applying action to that plan. Years ago I filmed a morning walk through the Walnut Orchard planted behind the vegetable garden. My thoughts explain the similarities of Growing a Business and Wealth and Growing a Garden or Orchard
